Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies (Marley Famous)


Ingredients

All purpose flour 236 g

Butter (soften) 167.27g

Sugar 114.07g

Brown Sugar 125.33

Eggs (2) 83g

Baking Soda 3.35g

Salt 4.55g

Vanilla 3.59g

Semi- Sweet Chocolate Chips 258.57

The Procedures

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325° F.

Step 2

  1. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

2. Beat soften butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.

3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in the chips.

4. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. I like to use parchment paper to line the baking sheets.

Step 3

Bake for 10 to12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

TIP 1- a little underbaked is amazing

TIP 2- I usually bake a tester cookie in the middle of the pan to be sure the oven temp is correct.

Tip3- Us a combo of Semi Sweet chips and Milk Chocolate chips 2 to 1 semi to milk

For High Altitude Baking (5,200 feet): Increase flour to 2 1/2 cups. Add 2 teaspoons water with flour and reduce both granulated sugar and brown sugar to 2/3 cup each. Bake drop cookies for 8 to 10 minutes and pan cookie for 17 to 19 minutes.
