Asparagus With Slivered Garlic Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups diagonally-sliced fresh asparagus
1 tsp olive oil
2 tbsp dry white wine
2 garlic cloves, slivered
2 tbsp minced red onion
1 tbsp lemon juice
Freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
1 dash salt, (optional)
Instructions
Blanch the asparagus for 3 minutes in a pot of boiling water and drain. Heat the oil and wine in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion and saute for 4 minutes. Toss the mixture with the asparagus. Sprinkle lemon juice, pepper, and salt to serve.
